This years Summer Fair is Saturday 28th June 2025. 12-3.30pm.

The Summer Fair is a biggest fundraiser event of the year for the school and part of that profit raised, is the ever famous Ivy Chimneys Raffle.

As you are aware, The Friends of Ivy Chimneys School, (FoICS) is a registered charity, managed by volunteer parents, carers and teachers.

 

Every year we hold a Summer and a Christmas Fair, which involves different stalls, fun activities and general fun fundraising events in an attempt to raise money for the children to enhance their learning and provide activities, equipment and experiences which could not be provided for by a normal school budget. In the past we have been able to provide amazing school trips, adventurous playground equipment, an outside MUGA space and superb electronic learning systems.

Going forward we are fundraising for a new outdoor area as part of the opal project and many other wish list items for the children at Ivy Chimneys.

 

At each event, we hold a raffle, and generally ask local retailers and businesses if they would be willing to make a donation for our raffle. Any prize / gift/ voucher that they can provide assists us in raising funds and we are always very grateful for all that we receive.

 

We champion all the businesses that support us and naturally reflect this with our regular social media Instagram advertising. Our top 5-10 prizes are listed on socials and we have the FoICS website, www.foics.org, where a dedicated page for raffle is and you will be able to purchase tickets online prior to the fair.

 

We are reaching out to our Ivy School Community or parents, carers and many local businesses within the school. Are you able to donate a raffle prize? We would love to hear from you.
