Breakfast and After School Club

Register For Breakfast / After School Provision

We are delighted to be offering a breakfast and after school provision. We have tried to give you as much detail as possible so that you can choose whether this club is suitable for your needs and your children. This club is for children of Ivy Chimneys Primary School only.

Places are limited to a total of 50 children attending each club. Clearly, there will be a lot of interest in this club and unfortunately not every child will be able to attend. In order for parents to plan their child-care arrangements, we feel that it is important that attendees are confirmed for the remainder of the academic year and we will start afresh with new members for September.

At least three members of staff who have been properly trained will be running the breakfast and after school clubs. They will take responsibility for the day to day running of the club and therefore any questions or concerns relating to your child's attendance at the club should be directed to them. A separate phone number will be made available for any messages and notification of illness or non-attendance.

There are some rules that will need to be applied in order for this club to run successfully and parents will need to sign that they agree to the following:

  • payments are to be made in advance, on a termly basis. You will need to use the online payment system: SIMs Pay. Any late payment may result in the place being forfeited.
  • parents are required to give half a term's notice should they wish to cancel or reduce the number of sessions booked.
  • children may not be dropped off at the club any earlier than 7.45am.
  • children must be picked up on or before 5.30pm. A fee of £5 will be charged for every 10 minutes of being picked up late. In addition, a three strikes rule will be applied for late pickup and this will lead to the place being forfeited
  • please note, after-school club closes at 4pm on the last day of each term
  • food will be served in accordance to healthy schools initiative and food standards. Parents must inform the club of any dietary requirements including any allergies, vegetarian, etc.
  • children are expected to be well behaved. Children who aren't able to adhere to the expectations risk losing their place at the club
  • if your child is due to attend after-school club and you wish to take them home instead, they must be collected from the club and not class rooms or the playground
  • parents will notify the staff running the club of any illness or non-attendance by giving as much notice as possible. Please contact the breakfast club staff at 7.30am to notify us of any absence. Unfortunately, we aren't able to refund costs for non-attendance as inevitably the costs will have already been committed
  • we now accept tax-free childcare payments. Please contact the office to let them know if you wish to pay fees using this method.
  • the school reserves the right to make the final decision over membership of the club, including withdrawing membership if there are incidents of behaviour at the club that do not meet our expectations.
