Wildlife Explorers
Wildlife Explorers Club
We are excited to announce a new after school activity that is being run by Mrs Heath, our Cherry Class teacher.
The new Wildlife Explorers Club will run for 10 weeks during the summer term, open to a limited number of years 1, 2, 3, 4 pupils (only 15 places available). There will be a number of activities in and around the school grounds looking at and supporting wildlife.
These will include:
- developing areas for wildlife,
- observing wildlife
- and learning more about what is in our local area.
We will link into the RSPB scheme as well as ideas from sources such as the Woodland trust and the Wildlife trust.
The after school activity will run on Monday evenings (3:15-4:15pm) and will be based in Cherry class.
We do not charge for school run activities but ask for a donation to support the running costs (seeds; bug hunt equipment; materials to build bug hotels) of the club. We suggest £10 for the term (equating to £1 per week).
Places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. To register your child’s interest please complete the google form below. The deadline to register is Wednesday 25th March. After this date we will notify you to confirm if they have a space and, if appropriate, full details of when it starts and how to make your donation.
